What do we believe?

• We believe in One G-d, that G-d is One, as revealed in the Scriptures. “S’hma (Hear), O Israel, the Lord our G-d, the Lord is One.” (Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12:29).
  我们相信神是独一的神，神是独一的神，正如圣经所启示的。“以色列啊，你要听，主我们的神是独一的主。“（申命记6：4;马可福音12：29）。
• We believe that all the mitzvot (Commandments) are included in the S’hma.

Jesus the Messiah  弥赛亚耶稣

Yeshua HaMashiach

• We believe that Yeshua (Jesus of Nazareth) was, and is, Israel’s promised Messiah and the Saviour of Mankind – “the Word [Who] became flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:14). “He lived as a holy Tsaddik fulfilling without blemish the mitzvot of the Torah. He brings to perfection the human expression of the divine image”. (Isa. 7:14; John 1:14; Gal. 4:4; Heb. 1:1-4; 4:15).

• We believe the Messiah represents an entity within Israel, and we will resist any attempt to separate Yeshua from His Jewish people.

• We believe in the unique calling and role of the Messiah to cause Jewish believers and the Righteous from the Nations to build the Kingdom of G-d together.

• We believe in the literal, physical return of Messiah to rule and reign upon the throne of David in Jerusalem. (Zechariah 14; Revelation 19-20).

The Holy Spirit  圣灵

Ruach HaKodesh  鲁阿赫·哈科德什

• We believe that the Spirit of G-d (Ruach Elohim) comforts, teaches, leads, indwells and empowers all whom G-d regenerates (i.e. ‘rebirth’ – to be ‘born again’). The Ruach Elohim is the seal and guarantee of the promise of salvation. The Ruach convicts the world of sin, establishes righteousness and judgement (Acts 9:31; 1 John 2:27; John 16:13; 1 Corinthians 3:16; 2 Timothy 1:7).

The Scriptures  圣经

• We believe that the Bible, both the Tanach and the Apostolic Writings, are the only inspired, infallible, inerrant and authoritative Word of G-d (2 Timothy 3:16-17). To properly interpret the meaning of the Bible, we must remember that it has a Jewish origin and was written by Jews. This is especially true when reading the Writings of the Apostles (Matt. 5:17‐20).

• We believe that the Torah is G-d’s love letter to the Jewish people, which is a binding Ketuvah (marriage contract) today, and until heaven and earth pass away (Matthew 5:18).

Sin and Forgiveness  罪与赦免

• We believe that all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of G-d. (Romans 3:23)

• We believe that Yeshua’s death and resurrection accomplished the atonement for all who place their faith in him. Whoever trusts in G-d, in His work alone, is made a new creation in Yeshua, indwelt by the Spirit of G-d, and is transferred from the power of darkness into the kingdom of G-d. (Mark 1:14; Mark 4:11; Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 5, 6, Colossians 1:13-14)

• We believe in justification by faith through the grace of G-d alone, and not by human efforts. One may not earn, merit, or keep this eternal salvation by his own efforts. A new creation is the work of G-d alone. (Ephesians 2:8-10; Romans 8:29-39)

The Covenants  的契诺

• We believe in the continuity of G-d’s covenants with the Jewish people, the physical people of Israel (Jeremiah 31:35-36).

• We believe in and celebrate G-d’s Appointed Times.

Believers  信徒

Jew and Gentile  犹太人和外邦人

• We acknowledge that the body of believers is composed of both Jews and Gentiles who have received Yeshua the Messiah as the promised Redeemer (Rom. 10:12‐13). The “middle wall of partition” has been broken down and we worship the G-d of Israel together (Eph. 2:13‐15, Gal 3:6). We believe that the land of Israel belongs to G-d and He gave it to the Jewish people (the physical descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob) to live in and possess (Rom. 11:25‐29). He has recently returned Israel, as prophetically promised, to this land (Isa. 11:11‐12).

• We believe that all non-Jewish people who trust in Yeshua are grafted into Israel. While this does not make them Jewish, they are full and equal participants in the covenants of promise. (Ephesians 2:12; Romans 11:11-24; Jeremiah 31:33).

• We believe that beginning with Avraham, an Oral teaching was passed down to us through the Sages.

• We believe that, in order to restore the Messiah to Zion, we must rectify His Name through returning to an authentic Messianic Jewish framework.

• We believe that selfless love toward others and the saving of a soul in Israel, works towards the salvation of the entire house of Israel.
